2006 15.3 Thoroughbred-Percheron Mare For Sale
Amirra is a 2006 15.3 Thoroughbred-Percheron mare. She’s primarily dressage and has been schooling 1st and 2nd movements as well as some shoulder-in/haunches-in. She has an amazing ground-covering walk, is SUPER light on the bit and incredibly responsive to leg and seat aids. She has lovely gaits and lateral movements come really naturally to her. She loads easily without issue, stands for the vet/farrier/dentist etc. without a problem. She’s barefoot, but does get her upper and lower hocks injected once a year depending on how often she’s worked. She’s traveled and worked off-property and done really well, but has not shown because I never had a strong desire to, but she would definitely do very well. Amirra has primarily been a dressage mare, but occasionally loves to pop over some poles. She is extremely sweet mannered and really wants to bond with her human. She is not recommended as a beginner horse, but she has such a heart to please and an undying love for peppermints :)
She is for sale because I am out-of-state for college and unfortunately cannot afford to take her along, so we hoping to find a lovely new human for her who will work with her and love her. We are asking $10,000 but open to negotiating if the home is a good fit.

Soft seat and great balance are trademarks of this close contact buffalo leather dressage saddle. I bought this saddle from Emily Miles, and have had it serviced regularly by County rep. After inspection by County Certified Repair specialist, Adrienne Hendricks in Nov. 2020, tree and billets were replaced, not used since. Used, but loved, assured by rep. that mild crease in seat is cosmetic only, leather is in great condition. Stamped info is worn, but serial number verified by County. $2200, or make offer. One-week trial available if within KCDS area.
